Jeffrey T. Ebelhar (Jeff) is a Certified Public Accountant and an Honors graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He has enjoyed a 50-year career in Public Accounting with a wide range of experience including the representation of clients before the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Kentucky Department of Revenue. Jeff retired as Managing Partner of Ebelhar Whitehead, PLLC CPAs and Advisors in 2018 but continues to provide services both to the Firm and selective clients on a part-time basis.
Jeff has a long history of serving the community toward the goal of making our community a better place to live, work and play not only for ourselves, but for our children and our children’s children. He has held leadership roles in the following civic, church, trade, non-profit and charitable organizations: Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Owensboro Lions Club, Stephen Cathedral, Home Builders Association of Owensboro, Kentucky Society of CPAs, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Owensboro Community and Technical College Foundation, Owensboro Rotary Club, Owensboro Rotary Club Foundation, Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, Owensboro Health (formerly Owensboro Mercy Health System), Catholic Diocese of Owensboro Diocesan Review Board, Green River Area Community Foundation, RiverPark Center and Owensboro Duplicate Bridge Club.
Jeff currently serves as President-Elect of the Owensboro Rotary Club and as Treasurer for the Owensboro Rotary Club Foundation, RiverPark Center and Owensboro Duplicate Bridge Club.
